Travel and science go together like peanut butter and jelly. That’s to say that they truly go hand in hand. Whether you’re perched on a mountain side admiring the geological wonders of Bryce Canyon, stepping foot in the place where woolly mammoths used to roam, or witnessing the beauty of a dark sky city, it’s no secret that we find wonder in those places where the natural world shows off.
While you certainly encounter marvels fueled by science no matter where you go, seeking out science museums can be a true eye opener into specific fields or points of interest in a destination. For example, you can surely look up in the night sky and see stars, but observing the cosmos through an observatory’s telescopes is another thing entirely.
Luckily, throughout the United States there are incredible attractions to guide visitors of all ages on their scientific journey. It’s never too late to learn. So, I’ve rallied the help of some fellow travel bloggers to share our picks for the best science museums in the US. Blast off!
Map of America’s Best Science Museums
General Science Museums
1. California Science Center, Los Angeles
Speaking as an LA-native, the California Science Center is easily one of the top science museums in the city and even better, it’s free! The museum features interactive exhibits on the human body, ecosystems, air and space, and fire science and safety. They also have a rotating exhibit that is always amazing like the Science of Fear, a crime scene investigation, or most recently an in depth look into Leonardo da Vinci’s inventions.
Some favorites include the outdoor Rocky Shore touch tank and the BodyWorks Theater show with Tess, a 50-foot, animatronic human body simulator that showcases how the human body’s organs work together.
Don’t miss their science IMAX films for a fee. For example, they have a film on Blue Whales, one on deep space, and Cities of the Future, which explores modern innovations that engineers are working on.
Admission is free, but parking is $15 and IMAX films have their own admission at $9.79 for adults, $7.59 for kids, and $8.79 for students. Getting there is easy as the California Science Center sits right off of the 110 freeway that runs through downtown or at the Expo Park/USC stop on the Metro gold line E.
I recommend a stay outside of downtown Los Angeles (where the museum sits) as it’s not the safest area of town — but don’t worry, the museum complex is safe! Consider the Beverly Hills Hotel for an iconic stay in Los Angeles.

The “Space Odyssey” is another perennial favorite, with interactive exhibits simulating space phenomena and using real meteorite specimens. Both exhibits make complex subjects accessible and engaging to all audiences.
Admission cost is $24.95 for adults, $19.99 for children, and $21.95 for seniors. The planetarium and Infinity Theater access are extra. Try to sync up your visit with the museum’s free days or evenings. For locals, annual membership is a great deal. For visitors, consider getting the City Pass, which provides significant savings if you visit this and other sites.
Parking is free in the on-site parking lots and parking garage. Combine this with a visit to City Park or the nearby Denver Botanical Gardens, with stunning flowers year-round.
The Flora House Denver B&B is very convenient to the museum and offers suites, a peaceful setting, and easy parking. In the heart of downtown Denver, Hyatt Centric Downtown Denver is a great alternative if you’re looking for a full-service hotel with private parking, just a short drive from the museum.

4. Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago
Chicago, one of the best vacation spots in Illinois, is home to several world class museums. Among them, the Museum of Science and Industry (MSI) attracts visitors with its interactive and large-scale exhibits. As one of the largest science museums in the US, it provides fun ways for families to learn about the application of natural and technological sciences and inspires curiosity and creativity.
The most popular exhibit is perhaps the U-505 submarine, the only German submarine in the US captured during World War II in 1944 and designated as a National Historic Landmark in 1989. Visitors can join a guided tour inside this submarine to learn about life aboard.
One of the oldest exhibits at the museum, the Coal Mine is also a favorite of visitors as they can take an underground mine tour to explore the mining technology and the life of miners.
Please note that some premium exhibits require separate tickets, or they may be included with museum entry, which is $26 for adults, but require free, timed-entry tickets obtained onsite, such as the Numbers in Nature: A Mirror Maze exhibit. This fun exhibit displays the mathematical patterns found in nature and features a mirror maze as a centerpiece.
It takes only 15 minutes to drive from Chicago Loop along the Lake Shore Drive to get to the MSI. Therefore, out-of-town visitors should stay in downtown Chicago for the best access to attractions and restaurants. The Renaissance Chicago Downtown is a great hotel with an excellent location to explore the city.

Aquariums
8. Aquarium of the Pacific, Long Beach, California
Most people (on the West Coast anyway) think of the Monterey Bay Aquarium as one of the best, but I’d argue that the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach is equally wonderful if not more so!
With exhibits that showcase different ecosystems, the highlights are the jellyfish, penguins, and poison dart frogs. Not to mention that there is an entire outdoor section of the aquarium that allows you to view aquatic life under actual sunlight…which doesn’t sound like a big deal, but it truly makes a difference!
Don’t miss the sting ray touch pool and a bit hidden around the back, a jellyfish touch pool.
They also have live shows with otters, which is just the cutest thing!
Admission is $45 for adults with discounts for children and seniors, where it’s recommended but not necessary to purchase tickets ahead of time. There is a parking garage on site, which costs $8 with museum validation.
For a hotel nearby, the Hyatt Centric is within walking distance, so you can avoid the parking fee!

Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies is located directly outside Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It is chock full of marine life, including sharks, turtles, frogs, fish, crabs, octopuses, stingrays, penguins & more.
The aquarium offers an array of experiences, from shows and interactive exhibits to a glass-bottom boat ride that glides over the shark lagoon. A crowd-favorite show is the heartwarming Penguins on Parade, where the penguins walk around the aquarium, providing an up-close encounter you won’t forget!
While the entrance fees are $40 per adult, $25 for children 6-11, and $15 for children 2-5, there are sightseeing combo passes for those planning to visit more than one attraction to help you save a few dollars.
Some of their additional attractions in the area include a mirror maze, mountain coaster, mini-golf, arcade, haunted adventure, and the odditorium. Going to a few of them while in town can make for a great trip full of family fun! If your family is still looking for more animal spotting after visiting the aquarium, be sure to head into Great Smoky Mountains National Park bright and early for a chance to see a llama train.
Gatlinburg has paid parking where there is a lot behind the aquarium for a $10 flat rate. Plus, ample lodging options throughout town can accommodate any budget. For the heart of town, stay at the Margaritaville Resort, or consider Roamstead for a peaceful glamping experience near Gatlinburg.

Observatories
11. Griffith Observatory, Los Angeles
Not only is Griffith Observatory one of the best science museums in the US, but it’s one of the must see attractions in Los Angeles whether you have one day or 5 days in the city. Sitting atop Mount Hollywood, Griffith Observatory truly has something for everyone.
With stellar views of the surrounding mountains including the Hollywood Sign and downtown, interactive exhibits on space exploration that are fun for kids and adults alike, and the planetarium show, you really can’t go wrong.
Still, don’t miss the Hall of Planets where you can “weigh” yourself on each planet and jump on a plate to see if you’re able to register your movement as an earthquake with a live seismograph. Planetarium shows are also a must, but do cost a few bucks.
Be sure to explore the grounds as there are lots of details to see including a statue commemorating important scientists and astronomers and telescopes on the second floor, accessible via the outside.
Admission to Griffith Observatory is free, although parking in their lot costs $10 and fills up quickly. One of my favorite Griffith Observatory tips is to park at the base of the mountain and take the free DASH shuttle up, to avoid parking issues at the top.
Stay at the Magic Castle Hotel, which grants you exclusive access to the Magic Castle during your stay, which is a premier magician performance venue in Hollywood. Alternatively, consider the Hyatt Place in Glendale, for a more removed stay on the other side of Griffith Park.

12. Lowell Observatory, Flagstaff, Arizona
While it’s certainly not the biggest, Lowell Observatory is definitely one of the most special observatories in America. That’s because this is where Pluto was discovered!
Not only that, but Lowell Observatory is located in Flagstaff, Arizona, which was the world’s first ever dark sky city. That means there are regulations in place to reduce light pollution from the city and ensure that the night skies are clear for observation!
Naturally, stargazing in Flagstaff is incredible and especially from Lowell Observatory where they have world renowned telescopes. They have viewings daily if the weather cooperates including solar viewings at Giovale Open Deck Observatory and night sky showings at Clark Dome.
Exhibits in the museum include an in depth look at the discovery of Pluto, an interactive OmniDome, and the Saturn Lamp.
Admission is $29 for adults with discounts for children, AAA, seniors, military, and students. There’s a free parking lot on site, so no worries there. Just be careful driving up the mountain road during winter as it definitely snows in Flagstaff (I lived there for 4 years!).
For a hotel nearby, you can stay at the base of the mountain in downtown Flagstaff. The Hotel Monte Vista is a perfect choice with a fun lobby bar and rumors of hauntings!

13. Adler Planetarium, Chicago
If you are heading to the Windy City, Adler Planetarium is a must-see. It’s one of the best science museums around, and a great attraction to see while in Chicago with kids.
The Adler Planetarium is conveniently located on the Museum Campus. It’s on the shore of Lake Michigan and near other attractions like the Shedd Aquarium and the Field Museum (number 14 on this list!).
If you are a space geek, the planetarium has a ton of incredible exhibits. The “Mission Moon” exhibit tells the story of America’s journey to the moon.
Or, another favourite exhibit is the meteorite which fell into a Chicago neighbourhood. That was definitely an interesting story to learn!
But you don’t want to leave Adler without seeing one of the “Sky Shows”. Their domed theater is quite comfortable, and the range of shows available is quite good.
From Sesame Street characters talking about the night sky, to the solar system set to Pink Floyd, or Skywatch Live! where the show changes to match the view of the sky directly over Chicago, there is something for everyone.
And don’t forget to walk the grounds of the Planetarium when you are done your visit. Outside, you will find several pieces of interesting art in the gardens, as well as one of the best views of the Chicago skyline.
General admission starts at $25 for adults and $13 for kids (ages 3-11). There are discounts for Chicago residents and packages that include special shows. Plus, Adler Planetarium is included on the Chicago CityPASS.
Parking is available near the planetarium. It costs around $25 for the day.
Getting to Adler is easy. If you’re driving, take Lake Shore Drive. It’s not too far from the main strip in Chicago.
However, public transportation is a great option too. You can take the CTA bus which will drop you off right at the front doors of the planetarium!
For a nearby stay, consider the Hilton Chicago. It’s close to public transportation, comfortable, and only about 10 minutes from the Planetarium.

14. The Field Museum, Chicago, Illinois
The Field Museum is one of the largest museums of natural history in the world and located in downtown Chicago. The collections at the Field Museum cover topics that range from paleontology, archeology, geology, and culture.
Don’t miss Sue, one of the world’s most complete and best preserved Tyronnosaurus Rex specimen. It was discovered in 1990 by a woman (!!) named Sue and was therefore named after her. Sue and other fossils are on display in an exhibit on evolution and dinosaurs.
Grainger Hall of Gems is another must see at The Field Museum with over 600 gemstones including stand alone gems and jewelry pieces from Tiffany and Co’s World Exposition collection in 1893!
Other notable exhibits include one on Ancient Egypt and another rotating exhibit on bloodsucking critters like leeches.
Admission is $30 with discounts for students, children, and Chicago residents.
Parking on site is available at either The North Garage or East Museum Lot where both are paid with rates up to $30.
Hotels are a bit more scarce or expensive near The Field Museum so it’s best to stay closer to downtown then drive in or take public transit. The Freehand Hotel is a budget-friendly option with great reviews.

Air and Space Centers
16. The Museum of Space History, Alamogordo, New Mexico
The New Mexico Museum of Space History in Alamogordo is one of the best science museums in the United States.
The reason why this museum is so popular is that they have actual space gear on exhibit. Visitors can explore suits and other equipment used by astronauts, which is pretty fascinating.
In the front yard, you can find old aircraft, ballistic missiles, and other interesting stuff on display. This part of the museum can be visited by the public for free. One of the highlights there is the German Tornado, which is a type of aircraft and makes up a big part of the wartime history in this area.
They also have an IMAX theater, where you can catch films about space history. Another interesting spot is the International Space Hall of Fame. They designed this part of the exhibit in a pretty neat way, following the stories and dreams of astronauts and other people in the industry.
The museum is located on a hill, so you get an amazing view of the Tularosa Basin and White Sands National Park in the background.
The only way to get to the museum is by car since Alamogordo does not have good public transport. You can find free parking spots in the front.
The entrance fee to the museum is not very expensive. They offer a lot of discounts, for children, the military, and seniors. Adults without any discounts pay $13 for an admission ticket.
There are no hotels right next to the museum as it’s on the edge of Alamogordo, but the Home2 Suites by Hilton is a great place to stay in town, because of their central location to the attractions of the area. Plus, they have a nice pool.

Housed within four buildings are over 360 aircraft and missiles on display. Explore the evolution of flight from the Wright brothers to modern jets. The museum covers everything from early flight experiments to space exploration, with exhibits highlighting key moments in aviation history; such as WWII bombers, Cold War-era jets, and NASA spacecraft.
The best way to see all the key exhibits is to take a docent-led tour conducted in each gallery. Your guide will show you all the must-see aircraft including the Wright brothers’ 1909 Military Flyer, the iconic B-17F Memphis Belle, the B-29 Superfortress Bockscar, the P-51D Mustangs, and the VC-137C Air Force One which carried the body of President Kennedy home from Dallas.
Admission to the National Museum of the Air Force is free, although donations are appreciated to support its upkeep. Parking is also free, with plenty of handicap parking close to the entrance.
Located near Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, the museum is easily accessible by car via Interstate 70. For those flying in, Dayton International Airport (DAY) is the closest option as well as Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG). If you are planning an overnight stay, there are several nearby hotel options, including the Hilton Garden Inn in Beavercreek.
For a comprehensive experience, consider dedicating at least two days to explore all of what the museum has to offer. Whether you’re a history buff, aviation enthusiast, or simply curious about the wonders of flight, the National Museum of the Air Force promises an unforgettable experience for visitors of all ages.

19. Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, Washington DC
For a deeper look at flight in general, the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum is one of the best. You’ll find it in Washington DC along the National Mall, where it’s often a bit crowded as it’s one of the most popular Smithsonian museums in Washington DC.
Inside, you’ll find an array of exhibits that cover the invention of flight with lots of prototypes and historic aircraft, space exploration where you can try on an astronaut’s glove, and even speed, which features historic record holders for fastest rides and their respective vehicles like motorcycles, cars, and more!
One of the most amazing parts of the museum is the collection of aircrafts that are displayed hanging from the ceiling. It takes your breath away immediately!
Admission is free to the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum, but timed reservations are required and enforced.
Parking near the National Mall in general is challenging, but there are limited metered parking and commercial lots. It’s better to take public transportation or a ride share in.
For a hotel, stay near the National Mall at the Hyatt Place for convenience to avoid the tricky parking situation. Not to mention you’ll be central to many of the best attractions for your Washington DC itinerary.

20. Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center, Chantilly, Virginia
Most visitors to the Washington, DC area are excited to visit the National Air and Space Museum on the National Mall. What many people don’t realize is that the museum has another location in Chantilly, Virginia, called the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center. Celebrating 20 years in 2023, visitors will be wowed the moment they set eyes upon the airplanes and artifacts that fill two large hangars.
Like the museum in DC, items on display at Udvar-Hazy span years of aviation history. It’s thrilling for visitors to see a Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird or the well-traveled Space Shuttle Discovery.
High overhead is the Aerobatic Flight exhibition, a colorful collection of planes. Keep an eye out for portable Discovery Stations for hands-on activities.
Plan to spend at least two hours strolling through and learning more about the history of air travel and space exploration.
Udvar-Hazy is also home to an IMAX theater that offers a variety of films. If you plan on watching a movie, consider reserving tickets in advance online.
If you get hungry, there is a Shake Shack on-site. Just down the road, Chateau de Chantilly Cafe offers a variety of sweet treats. If you need a hotel for the night, the Hampton Inn Washington-Dulles International Airport South is highly rated.
With the completion of the Metro Silver Line extension to Dulles International Airport in late 2022, travelers can take the Metro to the Innovation Center station and hop on a Fairfax Connector bus. Or, from the airport itself, it’s just a few miles to Udvar-Hazy, an easy taxi ride, or the Fairfax Connector bus option.
Museum admission is free, but there is a $15 parking fee before 4 p.m. Museum hours are currently 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

21. US Space & Rocket Center, Huntsville, Alabama
Although it’s in a smaller city, the US Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama, is one of the best science museums in the US. It was developed in the Cold War as a facility to build rockets as the US fiercely competed with the Soviet Union. Today, guests can learn the center’s history and experience an impressive collection of artifacts, including the Saturn V rocket.
The center has permanent and special exhibits. For instance, guests can walk in a replica of the Space Station, learn about innovations in growing food for astronauts, and explore the history of the Saturn V. They can also sit in a replica of the Apollo lunar module and command module.
The Space & Rocket Center offers an impressive and extensive collection of artifacts paired with numerous educational opportunities, such as summer camp. Within the complex, there are small amusement-type rides guaranteed to thrill kids and adults!
Admission is $30 for adults and $20 for children ages 5 – 12, where kids 4 and under are free. Parking is free, as well.
Huntsville is a smaller city than Birmingham or Atlanta. Nashville and Birmingham are the closest large cities if you need an airport. The Atlanta airport is about 3.5 hours away.
As for a hotel, check out the SpringHill Suites in West Huntsville/Research Park. The hotel is newer, with large spacious rooms and a terrific breakfast. Restaurants are within walking distance, and you aren’t too far from a large complex with entertainment, Top Golf, and more dining options.

22. Kennedy Space Center, Merritt Island, Florida
One of the most iconic and expansive science museums in the US is the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Located just 45 minutes from Orlando, this incredible museum covers the history of space exploration at the actual NASA campus where ongoing research and endeavors are happening!
Don’t miss the Apollo/Saturn V Center accessible via bus tour, which has a simulation liftoff, an actual Saturn V rocket used in an Apollo mission, and many exhibits dedicated to the Race to the Moon.
Back on the main campus, don’t miss the Rocket Garden with real rockets, the Journey to Mars with past and future rovers, and the Heroes and Legends exhibit dedicated to the astronauts who make space exploration possible!
The Kennedy Space Center costs $75+ for adults and $60+ for kids and parking is $10 per car. With those steep prices, you may be questioning whether it’s worth it. But as an avid science museum and space center goer, I can easily say this is the best one hands down. You can spend the whole day there with this Kennedy Space Center itinerary and be blown away at each turn.
To get there, you’ll drive east from the city center until you drive over the NASA Causeway Bridge, then you’ll be there!
While you can’t stay directly on Merritt Island, the closest hotels are in Titusville just across the water. The Hyatt Place Titusville is a great, affordable option.

Most Unique Science Museums
23. La Brea Tar Pits, Los Angeles
Truly one of the most unique science museums is the La Brea Tar Pits in Los Angeles. This is because this museum focuses on the Ice Age where animals of that time were trapped, killed, and preserved in the tar pits surrounding the museum in Hancock Park.
Not only that but the whole park is considered an active paleontological research site. That means there are areas that are a fenced off where you can peer inside and see their active findings and research.
The museum is quite interesting with exhibits on saber tooth tigers, woolly mammoths, and the other animals from the Ice Age. A favorite part of mine is the interactive pulley system where you can feel the force of the tar.
One tip is to watch where you walk in Hancock Park as there are tar pits both large and very small all over the place. You don’t want to get tar on your shoes.
Admission to the museum is $15 with discounts for seniors, children, and students. Parking is available in a small lot behind the museum at a flat rate of $18. Luckily, it’s right next door to other museums in Los Angeles like the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures and Petersen Automotive Museum, so you can knock out a few in one visit.
For a hotel nearby, stay in Mid-Wilshire at Kimpton Hotel Wilshire.

24. Exploratorium, San Francisco
If you are visiting San Francisco with kids (or even without), a visit to Exploratorium is a must. This interactive museum is located at Pier 15 on the Embarcadero.
The Exploratorium is a great experience, both for kids and adults, because it is less of a museum and more of an interactive laboratory.
Set aside a few hours for your exploration, because we are talking 600+ exhibits across a massive indoor and outdoor space. The interactive exhibits cover a wide range of topics from arts, biology, astronomy, earth science, physics, chemistry, perception, and social sciences.
The founder of this museum viewed art and science as complementary ways of exploring the world, and incorporated both into the Exploratorium from its earliest days. The explore-for-yourself way of learning is really appealing. And while kids will certainly love it, this is a place not just for children, because adults will have equal amounts of fun and learning. Not to mention, they have an after dark entry for adults 18+!
The Exploratorium is close to the tourist area of Fisherman’s Wharf, so it is easy to get to via several ways.
You can take an Uber / taxi, a bus, or a tram to Fisherman’s Wharf.
If you take your own car, there are many parking garages near their Pier 15 campus.
You don’t need to stay close to the museum, and can base yourself in any of the great neighborhoods of San Francisco to explore the city. The W Hotel is a great option for their location and price.
The current pricing for tickets is $39.95 for each adult, and $29.95 for each young adult / child. Kids under 3 go in free. After dark entry is $19.95.

25. OMSI, Portland, Oregon
The Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) is the most popular museum in the state of Oregon, and offers so much more than the typical science museum experience. Located in downtown Portland on the bank of the Willamette River, OMSI is well-known for its unique temporary exhibits, its IMAX theater with a 4-story high screen, its permanent exhibits, and as a hipster venue for Portland events.
OMSI’s permanent exhibits are designed to be educational and interactive for all ages. Various halls and labs offer hands-on activities and allow kids and adults to explore the science of earthquakes, paleontology, life cycles, health, technology, outer space, energy and more. There’s even a science playground for kids 6 and under to explore.
The Prenatal exhibit is particularly memorable for its week-by-week display of human fetal development from conception to birth.
It’s easy to spend the entire day exploring just the permanent exhibits, although OMSI offers even more!
First-time visitors will want to reserve a tour of the US Navy Blueback submarine before arrival (limited to 12 people per tour). Music fans will also love the live laser shows in Kendall Planetarium like Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon or a seasonal holiday lights experience, one of the best displays in Portland!
OMSI hosts special rotating exhibits on many subjects, with previous topics including King Tut, Pompeii, Marvel Comics and movies, Tyrannosaurus, Pixar animation and more. OMSI After Dark is an adults-only evening event hosted several times a year that includes food, drink and performances, and these events often sell out.
Admission to OMSI is $19 for adults, and does not include admission to the current featured exhibit, the Blueback, the planetarium, or the IMAX theater. Although the separate prices are certainly worth the unique experiences.
Parking is available onsite for an additional fee of $5 for 2 hours or $8 for all day parking. Alternatively, visitors can arrive via the Trimet light rail station or Portland Streetcar station (stops at OMSI).
The Royal Sonesta Portland Downtown hotel offers comfortable, eclectically-decorated rooms a few minutes’ drive from the museum, and just two blocks away from Pioneer Square.

26. National Inventors Hall of Fame Museum, Alexandria, Virginia
The National Inventors Hall of Fame Museum is one of the best science museums in the Washington, D.C. metro area. It’s located in Alexandria, Virginia, about 30 minutes from DC, and is free to visit. It’s on the first floor of the US Patent and Trademark Office building.
Unlike many other museums in DC, the National Inventors Hall of Fame Museum offers the convenience of free street parking behind its building on Eisenhower Avenue. There’s also a paid parking garage nearby, and the museum offers parking validation. For those preferring public transportation or biking, the museum is easily accessible via train, bus, or trail.
The National Inventors Hall of Fame Museum has something for everyone. One of the most popular exhibits is an interactive display about counterfeit goods that allows visitors to guess which item is authentic and which is counterfeit. Another popular exhibit is the replicas of modern and classic Mustangs, showing how far technology has changed.
It’s also a kid-friendly museum. The interactive games in the kid’s section allow children to spend hours playing.
The National Inventors Hall of Fame Museum is committed to inclusivity, as seen in its exhibits. The ‘Women in Innovation’ display celebrates the often-overlooked contributions of female inventors and patent holders across various fields. The ‘Breaking Barriers’ exhibit pays tribute to Black inventors, highlighting their significant impact on the global community. These exhibits ensure that everyone’s contributions are recognized and valued.
The National Inventors Hall is one mile from Old Town Alexandria, a historic neighborhood. I recommend taking advantage of this town’s full history and charm by staying at The Alexandrian Old Town Alexandria Autograph Collection. It’s a vintage-inspired hotel with gorgeous decor, a swimming pool, and on-site parking.

For an adrenaline rush, try the FLYWAY zipline or the SKYWILD aerial adventure park for a thrilling experience above the zoo.
Also, be sure to check out their special events, outreach programs, or seasonal programs taking place during the time of your visit, like the Winter Wonderlights holiday display or the butterfly house in the summer.
Admission is $19.50 for adults with discounts for seniors and children, while parking is free and on a first-come, first-served basis.
If you’re planning to stay overnight, consider nearby accommodations like Hotel Denim, just 2.6 miles away with stellar reviews. Or for a more upscale stay, consider the O.Henry Hotel, 3 miles away.
